PACKAGING MATERIALS

We can manufacture and supply bags in a variety of materials such as light and heavy duty polythene, polypropylene and cellophane and can be either side sealed, bottom seal or gusseted. Bags can be clear, printed or coloured and can also be supplied with header sections with ‘euro slots’ for presentation purposes. All bags are ideal for use with our wide range of hand and foot operated heat sealers, including the Heavy Duty Star Universal equipment.

We offer a variety of pallet wrap films, from Nano films, Cast films, Green bio stretch films to polyethylene stretch film for wrapping and securing pallets for transportation. Hand reels are also available for use with dispensers or with extended cores in either pre stretch or standard specifications. Machine reels can be supplied in either cast or low density polythene, standard or pre stretched. All materials can be supplied clear or in black opaque.

Best suited for transit packaging, we have available from stock a wide range of polythene film, both shrink and non-shrink, single wound for sleeve sealing and centre folded for L sealers. Tubular film is also available for use with heat sealing equipment and we can supply in clear, printed, opaque, tinted, coloured and micro perforated.

Intended for high clarity presentation packaging and for use on chamber type or L sealer/shrink tunnel systems, we stock a wide range of centre fold PVC shrink film. We offer material in thickness from 15-38 microns and in standard 40% shrink ratio or in 20% ratio for more delicate or flexible products.

Polypropylene is a non-shrink, high clarity material and is suitable for direct food contact, widely used in the bakery industry for both flow wrapping and L sealing. The material can be supplied either single wound or centre folded and is also available in a variety of perforated patterns.

Polyolefin shrink film is a high clarity presentation material, environmentally friendly and recyclable. It is suitable for use on chamber type or L sealer/shrink tunnel systems and is a strong, multi layered material, available in wide range of widths and thicknesses. We offer both budget and premium films and can also supply ‘soft’ films for the wrapping of fragile or delicate products.

Heavy Duty Polythene Pallet Covers and Reels. For nearly 40 years we have been manufacturing both shrink and non-shrink pallet covers. These are available in standard 125, 180 and 200 micron material, clear, tinted, opaque or printed. We can supply from 1 to 1000 plus and also manufacture large shrouds for covering machines, boats, building materials and much more. We also stock large heavy duty sheet film on the reel, suitable for a variety of shipping, storage and protective purposes.

Polypropylene strapping is available for the efficient and economic security for parcels and pallets. Hand strapping is wound on plastic spools and is available preprinted with standard text or custom printed with customer names, logos or security information. For heavier duty applications, we supply polyester strapping or steel strapping, used widely in the construction industry.

We have been supplying vacuum pouches for many years to complement our range of Komet and Star vacuum packing machines, for both food and non-food applications. Vacuum bags are manufactured from a combination of polythene and nylon to give them a very high moisture barrier and are therefore ideal for storing food and medical products. Pouches can be supplied clear or tinted, foil or foil backed for displaying cuts of cooked meat or fish.

We offer a wide range of self-adhesive packaging tapes, both in polypropylene and PVC being the material preferred for cold store use. Hand reels are available for use with a wide range of tape dispensers and we also stock machine reels, which complement our range of Endoline Case Taping machines. Tape can be supplied clear, beige, coloured or printed to customers specific requirements and we also offer a range of preprinted tape with standard text, such as fragile, this way up and many more.

We offer a wide range of precision extruded hot melt adhesives for use with glue guns. Applications are extremely versatile and various open times and strengths are available and are widely used for the sealing of corrugated cartons, fabrics and upholstery, plastics metals and woods and we also offer low melt adhesive for heat sensitive products. Diameters range from 12 – 43mm and are suitable for most glue guns available on the market.

To complement our range of Ink Jet Printers, we offer both water based, oil and solvent based inks. Inks can be supplied in either cartridge or bottle form and are available in a standard black format or can also be supplied in a range of colours to suit a specific applications. Also available are a range of solvents compatible for each ink type.
